What Does it Mean?
S.P.L.A.T. stand for "Students Pushing the Limits of Advanced Technologies."

What does it REALLY mean?
S.P.L.A.T. was founded so students at UCCS who played network games on their PC's could have access to University Property as an official club for our meetings.

Did it work?
No, not really.

Why not?
Long story.

Do you have meetings then?
Yes, we try to have at least one meeting a month.

What do you do at one of your meetings?
Well, after a couple people show up, we whine and complain about how late whoever has the hub is, and set up a little 1on1 Quake 2 or something until he/she shows. Then everyone hooks into the network and has a wonderful time killing each other all day and laughing about it. All while slamming huge quantities of caffeinated beverages and munchin' on some chips or pretzels.

Why do you do it?
It's a fun way to meet people like yourself that enjoy computer games and share your elite VGA tan.

How do I join?
Just click on the Join Up button to the right and fill out the info.

Where are the meetings held?
In Colorado Springs,CO at The Univerity of Colorado At Colorado Springs. Near Austin Bluffs and Union. See the map and the next splat section for the location for the room.
